School of Nursing, Shaheed Babu Labh Singh, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar was started in 1952 with imparting General Nursing and Midwifery training to fresh candidates. In 1982 it was converted to Promotional training school. (ANM to GNM). Now the Government of Punjab has decided to restart the school again with General Nursing and Midwifery Diploma (3 years) to fresh candidates.

To make the students self-dependent Nursing School . There are all the modern amenities for these practical subjects. Higher education involves equipping the students with knowledge and communication skills.
